La Nuit S'en Fuit (The Night Flees)

I thought it would be fun to try to write a French song. I've always enjoyed the way the French language sounds in music. So... with my limited French (4 years in high school)... I gave it a try.

A huge thanks and credit to Dad who does speak French fluently and who gave me a lot of help with the lyrics.

Also, for those who can tell, I'm sure my accent is not very good. I gave it my best:)

Oh, I LOVE it! It sounds so good- I'm way impressed. I admit, I had to go read the lyrics to understand it- guess those 4 years of French didn't do it for me. But this is definitely one of my favorites. I think you should do more French songs in the future!

Oh my goodness, that is the cutest song ever! And I love, love, love the melody. It's been stuck in my head. I gotta say, hooked on phoni--I mean, one year and two weeks of French before I dropped out, apperantly did it for me. I understood it! Huzzah! This is also for sure one of my favorites! You're so amazing.
